About Me
I am a highly experienced UKCP accredited, and BACP registered Integrative Psychotherapist and Counsellor. I work in Peckham and online.
In addition to my private practice, I've worked with clients in various settings, such as a carers centre and a low-cost therapy service. I have experience working with and welcome clients from diverse backgrounds.
I work with a wide range of issues including, but not exclusively, anxiety, depression, loss, bereavement, carers, trauma, work-related stress, burnout, relationship issues, sexuality, feelings of overwhelm, intrusive thoughts, anger, identity issues, chronic illness and neurodiversity. I also see clients who simply want a space to explore and reflect on their experiences.
Since the pandemic, I have increasingly worked with people experiencing long Covid and other chronic health conditions including carers. In 2021, I developed and ran a fully funded, free, 12-week support programme for people experiencing long Covid in the Peckham area.
My background is in education. I specialised in supporting teenagers and their families who were experiencing difficulties in mainstream schools. This experience led me to counselling and psychotherapy.
